Read about meMillie studied Dance Education at Canterbury Christ Church University. She has a passion for inclusion and promoting dance as a creative outlet for anyone, no matter how they move or learn. This interest was solidified after a professional development workshop with Parable Dance and an online placement with DanceSyndrome. Millie wishes to develop a career in inclusive dance with a particular interest in working with children with special educational needs.
Rebecca Hite

Read about meRebecca received her MFA in dance choreography/performance from Smith College (Northampton, MA), and her BA in dance from Connecticut College (New London, CT). She has interned with BoSoma Dance of Boston, MA and Parsons Dance of New York City, and was fortunate enough to spend five months in Sydney, Australia, studying Graham technique and dance composition. Rebecca has performed works by renowned artists such as David Dorfman, Lisa Race, Heidi Henderson, Adele Myers, Nicholas Leichter, Jeremy Nelson, Wally Cardona, and Monica Bill Barnes. She has taught at Smith College, Amherst College, the American College Dance Festival’s New England Region, Middle School 217 in Briarwood, Queens, and at multiple New York-based dance studios and senior centers. Rebecca has performed with The Feath3r Theory under the artistic direction of Raja Kelly, Naomi Goldberg Haas/Dances for a Variable Population (www.dvpnyc.org), MachineH Dance, and is co-creator and co-artistic director of Reject Dance Theatre. She obtained her Pilates Mat certification through Equinox Fitness. Rebecca's work has been presented at Triskelion Arts in Brooklyn, NY, Built on Stilts Festival in Martha’s Vineyard, MA, MixMatch Dance Festival in Los Angeles, California, Trinity Repertory Theater in Providence, RI, the Astoria Dance Festival in Astoria, NY, The Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, plus many more.
Jill Moshman

Read about meJill Moshman is a choreographer, performer, and interdisciplinary artist. She holds a BA from Middlebury College in Vermont, USA and an MA from Bath Spa University in Bath, UK. Her work is primarily grounded in movement, while seeking to explore the intersections between dance, film, text, and visual media, and the diverse ways in which movement can be captured for an audience. www.jillmoshman.com
Kay Ashton MBE

Read about meKay Ashton MBE, is a podcast, vlog creator talking about all things disability. Her passion is showing how living with disabilities does not necessarily stop us living our lives to the full and reaching our potential and dreams. Kay, is currently going through IVF as a single mum by choice and also works day today for a large media organisations consulting on disability. Kay met Parable Dance after seeing an interview on the news and was keen to support and showcase the work we do. After being through dance school herself, she understands how important it is to have inclusive dance for all. 'I am honoured to be asked to be a patron for Parable Dance, I love what they do and how dance can be an expression of emotion, whatever your ability is, dance can be adapted and made inclusive for you and I love this'
Sofia Oxenham

Read about meSofia Oxenham graduated from RADA in 2017 and has since acted in a variety of roles for film and TV, including Poldark and Cursed.
She is passionate in her enthusiasm for inclusivity in the Arts and so was delighted to be asked to be a patron of Parable Dance.
